I'm not entirely sure why this is a problem, surely much of this would be through choice perhaps to bring up children or care for families. Some of us don't see this as a problem, I wish more women in our culture felt able to focus on bringing up their children if they wish to; their is huge pressure to work. But I will pray on this issue and seek guidance.
Christian Aid are asking us to give give thanks for opportunities we have to earn a living. Absolutely, we have opportunities of which I am grateful, but we also have a culture that values money earning more than love giving and nurturing.
