Fruits of your labour - a fruit growing poem

From the smallest seeds
And a heap of muck
Brought together
With a bit of luck
Come tiny shoots
Then stems and leaves
Before you know it
They're growing into trees
You plant them out
Into the spring sun
Give them water
And let them run
Up the trellis
Or along the ground
Don't constrain them
Let them make a green mound
If you're lucky
A flower will grow
Attracting bees
Waving to and fro
Then come fruits
If you're lucky
Watch them swell
While the bees make honey
The day will come
Later in the summer
When you can harvest the produce
And eat it up for supper
